Ben Young
Ben Young (Washington, D.C., “B.Y.”) is a senior who currently serves as the president of Phi Psi Fraternity. Ben is an economics and psychology double major and a midfielder on the men’s varsity lacrosse team where he is a captain. He also participates in intramural soccer, basketball, and tennis. Ben works on campus as a War News Radio reporter, tutors children in Chester through the “Dare 2 Soar” program, and also works as a campus tour guide. Ben received the David G. Smith Research Grant last summer and did research for his Senior thesis in Psychology. Ben has worked as an intern in Washington D.C. for General Dynamics Information Technology. Last fall, Ben studied abroad in France through Swarthmore’s Grenoble program. In his spare time, Ben enjoys hiking, skiing, painting, and traveling.
